Resort Rules

Welcome to Sumba Paradise Beach Resort! To ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all our guests, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following rules during your stay:

1. Smoking Policy

• Non-Smoking Areas: Sumba Paradise is a non-smoking resort except for designated areas. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside all bungalows and along pathways. A fine of IDR 5,000,000 will be charged for any violation.
• Designated Smoking Areas: Smoking is allowed only:
  • Next to the restaurant and pool area.
  • On balconies only with an ashtray. Please request an ashtray from the reception.
• Safety Measures: Smoking should always be done with caution. Never leave ashes unattended. Dispose of them properly in ashtrays. If any fire or potential fire hazard is observed, immediately inform the management.

2. Quiet Hours

• To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, please respect our quiet hours from 21:30 PM to 08:00 AM. During other times, we ask that you be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-In Time: 14:00
• Check-Out Time: 12:00
• Late Check-Out: Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee:
  • Small Bungalow: IDR 100,000/hour
  • Large Sumba Style Bungalow and Small Villa: IDR 200,000/hour
  • Large Villa: IDR 300,000/hour

4. Pool Usage

• Use of the pool is entirely at your own risk. Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
• The resort is not responsible for any injuries that occur in the pool area.
• Jumping or diving into the pool is not permitted.
• The pool is treated with chlorine; if you have sensitive skin, we do not recommend swimming.

5. Outside Food and Drinks

• Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the restaurant, bar, and pool areas. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to enjoy the offerings from our on-site dining facilities.

6. Alcohol and Smoking Restrictions

• Alcoholic drinks and smoking are strictly prohibited along all pathways. This policy helps maintain a clean and safe environment for all guests.

7. Guest Behavior

• All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests and staff. Any disruptive behavior may result in eviction from the resort without a refund.

8. Pets

• Pets are not allowed on the resort premises, with the exception of service animals. Please inform us in advance if you require accommodations for a service animal.

9. Damage to Property

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to resort property. Charges will be applied for repairs or replacements as necessary.

10. Parking

• Please park only in designated parking areas. The resort is not responsible for any lost or damaged vehicles.

11. Emergency Procedures

• In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions provided by our staff and familiarize yourself with the emergency exits and procedures.

By following these rules, you help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. 

12. Beach Usage

• Please note that the beach adjacent to the resort is unguarded and does not belong to Sumba Paradise Beach Resort. Guests use the beach at their own risk.
• Swimming unattended or when alone is not recommended for safety reasons.
• It is highly discouraged to access the beach during the night, as it poses additional risks.
